DETAILS:

ERIS Brewery and Cider House is the third owner-occupant of this historic former Masonic Temple. Completed in 1911, the building was originally named the Myrtle Masonic Temple Association and housed multiple Masonic Lodges. The Masons occupied the building until 1981, when it was sold to the Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church. ERIS worked with WRAP Architecture to convert the space to commercial use, a project that entailed significant structural work and the salvage of as many architectural elements as possible. ERIS brews and ferments its beers and hard ciders on the premises, complemented by a menu of creative food served in a spectacular high-ceilinged dining space. The second floor Lodge Room is still to be renovated.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

Please note: most staff will be focused on brunch service to restaurant guests rather than OHC. Please direct any questions about the building to volunteers wearing OHC t-shirts. Visitors will be provided a booklet with building information and map for a 15-to-20 minute self-guided tour.
