DETAILS:
The Home of Harmony is a welcoming space where cultures, faiths, and communities from across Chicago and around the world come together, rooted in the spirit of unity and diversity. The weekend “Know and Love” series brings respected scholars and teachers from many traditions to share insights that build bridges across communities. Evenings come alive with music, dance, and multicultural performances that celebrate Chicago’s global heritage. On Sundays, neighbors gather for yoga and meditation sessions that nurture both body and spirit. Through the School of World Religions, online courses are also offered exploring seven major faiths.
VISITOR EXPERIENCE:
Site volunteers will offer guided tours of the premises. There will also be a video about the history of a global movement towards peace and fulfillment, as well as organizational handouts. Visitors in the afternoon can join the music program or an engaging presentation at 4 pm. Complimentary refreshments will be offered. On Sunday, visitors are invited to join the Yoga and Meditation session specially curated for OHC.
