DETAILS:

Judson & Moore Distillery is set within a turn-of-the-century industrial complex, rebranded Rockwell on the River, that formerly operated as a tannery. The facility was upgraded to include a still room, mill room, an open floor plan with work and social spaces, an office, and a large, licensed, and bonded vault for aging the whiskey. Painted and sandblasted signage serves as a nod to the building’s original tenants: J.M. & V. Weil Tanners. Exposed brick, heavy timber ceiling beams, polished concrete, steel, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows define the distillery space. A mezzanine office and library overlook the open floor plan. A pedestrian walkway leads visitors past a two-story window that offers a glimpse at the impressive Vendome still. J&M enlisted FC Studio and lead architect Julie Fischer (WNDR Museum, Billy Sunday) to transform the space.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

View the distillery operations, including mill room, still room, and barrel room, and purchase cocktails in the tasting room and bottle shop. Staff will be stationed in each room to answer questions.
