800 Fulton is an architecturally daring addition to the booming Fulton Market District. A distinctive stepped façade carves out private terraces across nine floors, offering skyline views and access to native plantings by OMNI Ecosystems. The building relates proportionately to the low-rise scale of this former meatpacking district while connecting to higher-density zones to the north and east. Brick and steel echo the area’s longtime industrial character, while the building’s steel cross-braces showcase SOM’s trademark structural expressionism. The building is one of a select few office projects certified WELL Shell + Core Silver by the International WELL Building Institute and has earned LEED Platinum certification as well. It has the nation's highest standard for commercial office indoor air quality with fresh air intake on each floor, abundant green space, common outdoor decks, and a bike garage.
