DETAILS:

At 6018North, the past and present have blurred together. A 1910 Prairie Style mansion designed by Arthur Woltersdorf, the space's current owners pivoted away from a conventional renovation to establish an "artist-centered, sustainable, nonprofit platform and venue." Artists are encouraged to create experimental pieces that seamlessly blend into the surrounding structure. For the Chicago Architecture Biennale, coinciding with Open House Chicago, there are special displays across all four floors.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

6018North will be hosting a partner exhibition of the Chicago Architecture Biennial during OHC. People will be stationed throughout the house to provide an explanation of the show.
